 vivek

Vivek, one of our "emerging" new designers, is from India, His career path focused on jewelry for many years & then he "morphed" into creating what he didn't see in the marketplace. He has a crew of talented artisans who execute his designs in India--they are people whose entire families worked in the jewelry trade for eons & designed magnificent jewelry for the royal families of India.Vivek has created a line of upscale fashion jewelry-in 22 kt. gold over silver (vermeil) that is more than a knotch above your standard costume fare & very unique compared to other Indian designers. He adds semi-precious gemstones & quartz elements to his well-executed designs, which are both affordable & a mix of vintage & contemporary. He is just now beginning to sell internationally--& we know we are buying from a talented man, whose designs are "cutting edge" & "hot"!!

henryk winograd

a native of Poland, henryk winograd is considered to be one of the finest repousse artists of this century. repousse is the art of pounding a metal from the reverse side, ensuring a subtley of design & detail on the front side of the piece. it is an art that takes years of practice, specific talent & a love of silversmithing. mr. winograd's work has been featured in galleries & museum collections worldwide. sadly, mr. winograd, passed over in march, 2008; he will be greatly missed as a man, & as a fine designer, whose skill many will now attempt to emulate. we have a limited collection available to offer you, which we assume will be highly collectible now, due to the artist's demise
